Haha it’s really hard for me to grasp the reality that Tung and I are dating now. I can’t believe it! Haha Tung and I are dating. He’s my boyfriend, I’m his girlfriend. Everytime I think of that, I break into a smile and say, “Really?”
Saturday was such a good day. The final SAT class..goodness, it was the longest class ever because I’ve been anticipating to hang out with Tung afterwards so I just sat there and I don’t know how often I checked the clock. But after I dropped of Angeera, I went to the library for a bit and then I picked him up from his house. First we drove aimlessly for a bit. Then he asks me if I wanted ice cream so we went to Goldenrods and ate the ice cream in the car. We just talked and laughed and whatnot, made fun of people and whatever. We couldn’t finish our ice creams (they gave us so much) so we threw them away and then we just drove. We were going towards Londonderry on Rt. 28 and we talked about how the guy in Death Cab for Cutie is the guy that sings on the Postal Service (I still haven’t grasped that fact yet either haha) and just stuff in general. Then we turned around and went to Crystal Lake near McLaughlin and goodness, it was such a gorgeous day out. The lake was really pretty and a few people were on the small beach. We sat on this ledge and talked some more, like about his family and his friends and he asks me out through one of his stories about how his friends were bugging him about if we’re going out yet. Haha goodness, I just sat there and I felt so hopelessly shy. I was looking down and hair was in my face and everything and I didn’t know how to say yes. So then he said, “My friend, Tom, was like ‘You better call me up once you ask her’ and Seamus wants to know, too.” So then I look at him and replied with, “Well, then you could tell them that I said yes.” And ahhhh he smiles and touches the corner of his forehead with mine and he takes my hand and I scootch closer to him and we sat there, looking out into the pretty lake (: (: (:
I’ve never been asked out face-to-face before. And he’s so polite, he’s always been really polite and Stacie’s really happy for me, saying that he’ll take care of me well and goodness, Saturday was just an awesome day.
I love the fact that he lives in Manchester, and that he drives, and that he’s pretty family orientated, and that he catches up with old friends, that he keeps his promises. I love the fact that I could have this “cliche” relationship that I’ve been neglected. I can’t recall a time that I have gone out to watch a movie with any of my exs or just hang out at the mall or go out to dinner and whatnot. I’m just inexplicably happy that I could have a “normal” relationship haha (:
I’m going over to Tung’s to watch “Neon Genesis Evangelion” tomorrow (:
…And the weather has been absolutely amazing! The days are in the 60’s and 70’s now and ohhhh how I love the warmth
There are two kinds of love. In the safe kind you look for someone who’s exactly like you. It’s what most folks settle for. But then there’s the other kind of love. Everyone’s born with a ragged edge, and some folks crave that piece that’s a perfect fit. You’ll search for it forever, if you…
